Making, Fiora’s New Bathroom Collection

Making is a new bathroom collection from Fiora, where the washbasin, countertop, and furniture are made from a single material: SILEXPOL®.

In March, Fiora will be at the ISH trade fair in Frankfurt and presents the story of Making, a collection born from collaboration with The Robot Design Studio, in which both the countertops and furniture share the exact same dimensions and a unique finish.

Both the countertops and washbasins of the Making Collection are made with a brand-new material, SILEXPOL®, an exclusive Fiora patent. It is a highly resistant and fully restorable material, composed of a homogeneous mixture of silica and quartz agglomerated with a polymer.

Its impact resistance is decidedly similar to the average of natural stones and also presents good flexural strength, which prevents breakage, as demonstrated by tests carried out in certified and accredited laboratories. In case of accidental breakage, the product can be restored to its original state, allowing for economic and time savings.

The Making Collection is characterized by a linear and simple form. It integrates the dimensions and finishes of the countertop and surfaces so harmoniously that the furniture appears as a creation naturally born from a single fragment of stone.

The new finishes for the Making Collection are: stucco, slate, and smooth; available in over 20 colors, it offers completely new sensations in the bathroom.

The drawers feature a standard anti-slip bottom and the interiors are customizable. The furniture structures are made from DMF, a material that ensures virtually zero absorption capacity. Rounded corners, anti-moisture primer, and polyurethane-based lacquers give Fiora products a longer lifespan.
