Editor's Note
This editor’s note highlights the key facts and market implications behind “Outdoor Tiles Designed to Match Indoor Collectio”, with emphasis on sourcing, product fit, fabrication, logistics, or buyer impact.
At its headquarters in Casalgrande (Reggio Emilia), Ceramiche Keope has inaugurated a new pavilion dedicated to outdoor tiles, designed to be chosen in aesthetic continuity with indoor collections. Designed by architect Pierluigi Molteni, the new pavilion, set up at the Casalgrande headquarters, is not a simple exhibition but an architectural space within a botanical garden (conceived by architect Liliana Leonardi) that embodies a new conception of outdoor living.

Balcony, terrace, or garden… never before have outdoor spaces been so intensely "lived in" as in this period. These are environments to design, care for, and furnish, where one can find a bit of privacy, relax, or meet with friends. But from a new perspective compared to the past: the outdoor area has now become an extension of the home. This is demonstrated by the fact that many companies now propose products to be used both indoors and outdoors. No longer just practical, but beautiful to see and touch, and above all, high-performing. Among these are floorings: porcelain stoneware tiles and slabs for in&out solutions. The Keope system (www.keope.com) is conceived precisely for projects based on continuity between indoors and outdoors, for environments to live in without boundaries. The outdoor collections in 2 cm thick porcelain stoneware (in addition to the 1 cm ones) are perfectly matchable with the company's indoor proposals: from stone-effect tiles with graphics reproducing typical tonal variations, to those inspired by various types of industrial essences.

Depending on the intended use – balcony, terrace, driveway, or garden – there are many application possibilities: dry-laid (on gravel, grass, etc.), raised, or on a traditional screed, if the flooring is also required to be drivable.
