A classic luxury home allows residents to feel that the house represents their identity, offering complete relaxation upon return, while impressing guests with exquisite craftsmanship. After purchasing the property, the homeowner commissioned Huang Chao Design, with whom they had previously worked, to plan the space. Over eight months, the team created a distinctive luxury home that meets all these criteria, transforming irregular spaces into functional areas, pushing the boundaries of high-end materials, and ensuring smooth traffic flow—perfectly crafting an unprecedented modern luxury residence.
Highlight 1: Turning a Flaw into a Feature at the Entrance, Setting the Prelude for Free-Form Design

Opening the titanium-plated metal door, a modern and stylish atmosphere emerges. On the right side of the entrance, the original recessed area was transformed into a continuous floating shoe cabinet and storage room, turning a disadvantage into an advantage while meeting extensive storage needs. The homeowner loves travel and has a free-spirited soul, so the designer used the concept of free curves to plan the new home, reflecting the owner's personality. The ceiling's water-ripple light fixture, reminiscent of ripples on water, symbolizes the prelude to the free-curve spatial design.
Highlight 2: Breaking Material Limits with a Curved Marble TV Wall for Visual Extension
The original TV wall also had a recessed issue, and the ceiling height was low. Clever design transformed the space, visually raising the height. The construction team spent considerable time overcoming challenges, altering the inherent properties of marble by piecing and polishing it into a curved shape. Combined with meticulous craftsmanship, they created a rounded marble TV wall, unlike typical luxury marble presentations—truly stunning—while also achieving visual flatness and extension. The curved ceiling echoes the free-curve theme, creating a visually elevated effect.
Highlight 3: Detailed Desk, Bookshelf, and Custom Island Dining Table Enhance Quality
In the public area, a wave-shaped desk separates the living room from the reading area. The desk's leather surface provides a comfortable touch. Behind it, the bookshelf integrates a dining cabinet and hidden doors. The white book wall uses titanium-plated metal for shelves and edging, adding a finishing touch. The custom island dining table features a quartz stone countertop, known for its hardness and stain resistance—both aesthetic and functional. The base uses artificial stone shaped into multiple curves, creating a streamlined look. The dining cabinet's light meal area includes a faucet for the homeowner, who enjoys baking and brewing coffee. The hexagonal mosaic tiles on the cabinet's facade, with stone textures, echo the large stone surfaces in the public area, while the metal frames shimmer, conveying understated luxury.

Highlight 4: Unified Free-Curve Theme Extends from Entrance to Bedrooms
The beam above the master bedroom's headboard is wrapped with a curved headboard cabinet, cleverly resolving feng shui concerns and expanding the walk-in closet space for ample clothing storage. The closet entrance features a titanium-plated frame with glass doors instead of solid panels, creating a boutique-like atmosphere. The mirror in front of the dual sinks in the master bathroom can be opened for ventilation, and the niche is lined with marble for added refinement. The bedrooms for the older and younger brothers are color-coordinated to their preferences, with irregular spaces designed as desk and storage areas, balancing aesthetics and functionality. Huang Chao Design extensively used curves in this space to create a smooth flow of living, yet the design language is not overly loud. The space is rich in details with a consistent overall feel, proportionally distributed to turn flaws into functional and beautiful home features. Despite numerous challenges during construction, trust enabled the precise completion of this exquisite luxury home that exceeded the homeowner's expectations.
