Reporter Lin Dongliang / Tainan Report In recent years, the trend of high-quality home living has emerged, making large slabs a new trend in spatial design. To help the public better understand the material advantages of large slabs and their application in architectural design, a stone industry player has introduced a European-style immersive showroom in the South District of Tainan. This allows visitors to experience the various materials, designs, and installation results of large slabs firsthand, attracting many designers and members of the public.

Large slabs are a type of large-format ceramic tile. Produced using high-temperature firing technology, they feature a fine surface texture, low water absorption, and characteristics such as resistance to acids, alkalis, high temperatures, and high stability. They are widely used in architecture and interior design, suitable for floors and walls in residential, commercial, and public spaces, providing a durable surface. For example, they can be used for building exterior wall cladding (facades that withstand weather and time erosion), as well as for interior kitchen, bathroom, and living room walls, enhancing spatial aesthetics and adding a modern feel. They can even be applied to various furniture surfaces. Compared to ordinary materials that may change color under certain conditions, large slabs maintain a stable appearance and are easy to clean, reducing daily maintenance burdens. To stay abreast of international design trends and bring overseas showroom planning, spatial aesthetics, and brand concepts back to Taiwan, the company visited exhibitions in Germany, Spain, Italy, South Korea, and China. They observed and absorbed the strengths of various showrooms to build a large slab display space in Tainan, allowing the public to further understand the application of various large slab materials and deeply experience the spatial integration of large slab architectural art and living functions.

Entering the showroom, visitors can see a variety of large slab patterns and application displays, including white stone grain, gray tones, and special textures. The showroom also features high-end craftsmanship such as "hot-bent integrated basins." The on-site showroom is planned with real-life areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial spaces. Through contextual presentations, the public can more intuitively imagine the finished look, and it also helps designers and clients communicate about materials, color schemes, and overall spatial coordination, improving material selection efficiency.

Industry representative Fang Xianzhi stated, "As the demand for quality and functionality in living spaces increases, the application demand for large slabs continues to grow. With this flagship store introducing an immersive showroom and experience, we aim to provide the public with a more intuitive and efficient material selection process. In the future, we will continue to optimize products and services to offer more complete spatial solutions, meeting the needs of designers and the public."
