Editor's Note
This editor’s note highlights the key facts and market implications behind “Hansem Launches Premium Bathroom Brand ‘BATHBACH”, with emphasis on sourcing, product fit, fabrication, logistics, or buyer impact.
Hansem, a comprehensive home interior specialist, has launched a premium bathroom brand named 'BATHBACH', targeting the ultra-high-end bathroom market.
Building on over 50 years of expertise in design, product planning, and construction across kitchens, interior furniture, and remodeling, Hansem now aims to leap into the world's top-tier premium brands in the bathroom sector.
The company introduced the new premium bathroom brand in response to growing consumer interest in homes, particularly in the 'bathroom' as the most personal space. Bathrooms are now gaining status as spaces for interior styling, beyond their functional role, similar to kitchens and living rooms.
'BATHBACH' is Hansem's second premium brand, following the kitchen furniture brand 'KITCHENBACH' launched in 2006. It represents an extension of the company's premium kitchen know-how into bathroom spaces.
Hansem's strategy is to propose bathroom spaces tailored to customers' lifestyles, based on meticulously selected high-end materials from domestic and international sources and Hansem's differentiated 3D consultation and design service.
Premium Materials and Design
First, 'BATHBACH' will showcase bathroom spaces featuring large-format imported Italian tiles, among other materials. While more demanding to install compared to existing Hansem bathrooms, the use of a wider variety of tile designs aims to create more luxurious bathrooms.
The brand also incorporates premium products for faucets, sanitary ware, and storage cabinets. Faucets and sanitary ware are sourced from companies like American KOHLER and Italian SCARABEO, while hardware such as cabinet hinges uses products from Austrian BLUM, typically found in high-end kitchens.
Tailored Bathroom Spaces
The brand implements various bathroom spaces suited to different lifestyles. Beyond standard bathrooms, it proposes spaces suitable for large houses and apartments, such as 'Shower Booth Type', 'Home Spa Type', and 'Powder Room Type' utilizing anterooms.
Customers can receive customized consultations at stores using 3D design programs.
Launch Product: ‘BACH 5 Primo White’
Alongside the brand launch, the first new product introduced is 'BACH 5 Primo White'. This new product applies the 'New Classic' style interior, which is gaining attention as a latest trend in kitchens and living rooms. The 'New Classic' style blends classical interior elements with modern touches.
It creates a bright and sophisticated space using real marble pattern tiles, storage cabinets with painted doors, and faucets in gold rose color.
'BACH 5 Primo White' will be displayed starting at Hansem Design Park Mokdong and expand to Hansem Design Parks, Hansem Rehouse, and Hansem Kitchen & Bath locations nationwide. The price ranges from 10 million to 30 million KRW depending on size and options.
“The bathroom is the most private space in a home. With increased time spent at home recently, it is gaining attention as a space for healing, and its status is rising as a space to style according to one’s own taste,” said Jang Woo-soon, Executive Director of Hansem’s Building Materials Division.
He added, "With the launch of Hansem's 'BATHBACH', we will be able to propose not only differentiated bathroom spaces but also premium remodeling style packages encompassing the entire space, including bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and bedrooms."
