This editor’s note highlights the key facts and market implications behind “Daerim Bath Sees 82% Sales Increase for Online M”, with emphasis on sourcing, product fit, fabrication, logistics, or buyer impact.

Daerim Bath announced on the 18th that sales for its online mall 'Daerim Mall' increased by 82% compared to the same period last year, as demand for online-based interior services expands. From January to October this year, all product categories—bidets, filters, and remodeling products—showed growth compared to the previous year.

Daerim Bath analyzed that the sales increase resulted from strengthening product competitiveness and the online mall purchasing experience in line with the shift to online consumption. Recently, as demand for bathroom interiors rapidly expands from offline-centric to online, demand for high-quality bathroom products is also increasing in non-face-to-face purchasing environments.

In particular, sales in the bidet sector surged by 129%, driving overall performance growth. The diversification of the bidet product lineup, along with a significant expansion in the sales proportion of AI bidet products with enhanced technology such as automatic temperature control, were cited as key factors.

The filter sector also saw an 80% sales growth year-on-year, driven by a sharp increase in sales of the 'rotating water tap for washbasins', known as 'baby water tap' and gaining attention as a parenting item.

Remodeling sales increased by 26% through the reinforcement of consumer-customized bathroom package configurations. Daerim Bath is providing an environment where premium bathrooms can be easily designed online. The company is currently proposing various hotel-style bathroom products combining its recently launched premium faucet 'Black Collection', high-end one-piece bidets, and large porcelain tiles.

Oh Jae-hyung, Team Leader of the Daerim Bath O2O Team, said, "The sales growth of Daerim Mall shows that bathroom interior consumption is expanding to become online-centric."

“Daerim Bath plans to continuously pursue strengthening quality competitiveness and enhancing services so that consumers can choose various bathroom products at reasonable prices.”

Meanwhile, Daerim Bath is intensifying its efforts in domestic and international e-commerce markets by starting official sales of 'multi-filter showerheads' through Amazon US and introducing Coupang Rocket Installation service domestically. Through this, the company plans to enhance competitiveness across various sales channels and expand its brand influence in the global market.
