Viglacera is showcasing eco-friendly and smart building material solutions at the Vietbuild exhibition in Hanoi in 2026. On March 26, 2026, Viglacera officially opened its showroom at the Vietbuild International Exhibition Center within the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) in Dong Anh, Hanoi. This year's event gathered approximately 2,500 booths, marking the largest scale in Vietbuild's history. Against this backdrop, Viglacera's exhibition space attracted significant attention from visitors and customers who came to explore and gather information on Viglacera's six eco-friendly smart building material solutions. These solutions aim to encompass all stakeholders in the construction industry—investors, architects, contractors, and consumers—and address six key challenges in the construction sector. Vice Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha presided over the opening ceremony of Viglacera Group's exhibition space at Vietbuild Hanoi 2026, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Construction, professional associations, and enterprises under the Viglacera Group. The event was attended by numerous leaders, including Vice Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh, along with leaders from various ministries, agencies, organizations, associations, and domestic and international companies operating in the construction materials and real estate sectors. Many architects, interior designers, and construction contractors also graced the occasion. Tran Manh Huu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Viglacera Corporation, attended the Vietbuild Hanoi 2026 exhibition. Nguyen Quoc Huy, Head of the Communications Department at Viglacera Corporation, received a commemorative plaque at the event. Government leaders, the Ministry of Construction, and professional associations showed particular interest and strong support for Viglacera's six eco-friendly smart solutions, noting their potential for practical application on construction sites. When multiple pressures occur simultaneously—such as rising fuel prices due to conflicts in the Middle East, consequent increases in material costs, tight construction deadlines, and the need to comply with sustainable development standards—traditional construction methods, which heavily rely on manual labor, use individual materials, and lack a systematic approach, reveal their limitations. These methods are not only fragmented but also create blind spots in project management, directly undermining the value of long-term investment assets through energy waste, fire safety risks, and increased carbon footprints. To address these complex issues, Viglacera introduces a system of six material solutions developed based on the philosophy of providing comprehensive technical solutions that meet international standards. Specifically, they are as follows:
1. Solutions to Accelerate Construction and Optimize Human Resources
Viglacera offers solutions that minimize labor and construction time by integrating two large-format products: ALC (Autoclaved Lightweight Concrete) panels and large-format bricks. Specifically, large-format tiles increase tiling speed and reduce grout lines for a smoother finish. Furthermore, a single large panel (equivalent to the area of 75 conventional tiles) halves construction time compared to traditional brick-laying methods. Ultra-lightweight aerated concrete offers two advantages. First, it reduces structural load by 10–15%, optimizing load-bearing structure costs and consequently reducing foundation and beam expenses. Second, the reduced static load lowers logistics and transportation costs, even with increased transport volume.
If time is money and labor is a constant pressure factor on every construction site, then Viglacera's ALC panels and large-format bricks are a rare "solution" that addresses these issues simultaneously.

2. Solutions for Energy Saving and National Energy Security
Viglacera offers two energy-saving glass product lines, Low-E and Solar Control, suitable for the specific climates of Northern and Southern Vietnam, to reduce electricity costs throughout a building's lifecycle. The secret to energy saving lies in German magnetron sputtering technology. Energy-saving glass outperforms conventional glass through its ultra-low sputtering coefficient. It acts as an effective insulator, minimizing heat penetration from outside to inside and vice versa, keeping homes warm in winter and cool in summer, and optimizing long-term operational costs. Experimental performance indicators for this solution show it helps reduce operational costs over a building's lifecycle, including cutting air conditioning system energy consumption by up to 51%.
The most noticeable benefit for users is that this beautiful, sophisticated protective "shell" blocks 99% of UV rays and 79% of solar heat, protecting users and extending furniture lifespan.
Viglacera's energy-saving glass products have obtained EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) eco-product certification in the United States. Additionally, Viglacera's energy-saving glass manufacturing plant has achieved LEED Silver certification for green building, the first energy-saving glass manufacturing plant in Vietnam and Southeast Asia to do so. Beyond energy-saving glass, Viglacera offers a diverse range of glass products, including ultra-clear glass blanks, anti-reflective glass, one-way mirrors, and a complete glass post-processing chain, meeting various aesthetic and functional architectural requirements as a single supplier.
3. Health Protection Solutions
Viglacera has responded to the "wellness architecture" trend through two technological interventions in its sanitary ware products.
First, ViGuard™ glaze, applied directly to toilet and washbasin surfaces, boasts a high antibacterial coefficient, proactively eliminating bacteria that cause skin and digestive diseases. Rimless toilet designs and seamless undermount washbasins eliminate hidden corners where mold and bacteria can thrive.
Second, "touchless" devices integrated into smart toilet systems help eliminate cross-contamination risks. This offers significant value for both family and public restrooms.
Similarly, applying high-quality PVD coating to showerheads and faucets not only triples durability compared to conventional plating but also contains no harmful compounds, meeting the strictest European safety standards (RoHS) for water quality and chemical safety.

Within Viglacera's building material ecosystem, health protection solutions include antibacterial tiles, sintered stone with safe surfaces suitable for kitchen countertops, and energy-saving glass products with UV-blocking features, all enhancing quality of life and protecting user health.
4. Storm and Flood Response Solutions
To address flooding from heavy rain and increasingly frequent storms, Viglacera has integrated surface material solutions that significantly mitigate risks from extreme weather conditions. New glazed roof tiles feature a grooved structure that facilitates water drainage and prevents rainwater splashing, while also being wind-resistant, safely protecting homes from all natural disasters. A representative example is the family of 20mm-thick, ultra-strong, durable porcelain tile products featuring a unique open mesh structure technology. Rainwater naturally seeps through the grout lines and flows to the ground, reducing waterlogging. It also allows for easy disassembly and reassembly, optimizing maintenance of underwater facilities and extending project lifespan against extreme weather. The roof utilizes various types of tiles with drainage grooves to prevent rainwater splashing and special design features to protect the house from wind, keeping it safe during heavy rain and strong winds.
5. Fire Prevention Solutions
In line with the widespread and strict enforcement of fire safety regulations, Viglacera provides a system of fire-resistant materials, notably including its large-format tile product family with 6mm thickness. Applicable to doors, partitions, kitchen cabinets, etc., this solution can perfectly replace highly flammable traditional wooden materials. 6mm-thick sintered stone products, used for door and kitchen cabinet finishes, replace natural wood and effectively prevent fire spread. When used with lightweight aerated concrete for internal partitions, they ensure excellent fire resistance.
Viglacera also possesses a "fire barrier" product family that can continuously withstand high temperatures for 4 hours. In the event of an accident, AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) or ALC panels act as a "golden window" for rescuing lives and structures.
6. Sustainable Space Solutions
Due to pressure from resource depletion and the rising popularity of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) materials, demand has significantly increased for materials that outperform conventional ones and can replace natural resources like wood or stone. Viglacera addresses this challenge by building a sustainable product ecosystem through sintered stone with unique veining technology. This material perfectly imitates natural phenomena like wood grain, stone, clouds, water, perpetual snow, and lightning. These effects appear uniformly throughout the product thickness along the stone's veins, making it ideal for architectural and interior designs that need to leverage these unique characteristics. Viglacera's sustainable space solutions focus on developing materials that can replace natural wood and stone, thereby contributing to reducing resource depletion and minimizing carbon footprints. Representative examples include kitchen cabinets, island countertops, washbasin surfaces, and other interior products using sintered stone that replaces natural marble, as well as porcelain tile flooring that can effectively replace natural wood in modern living spaces.

Viglacera's wood-grain tile line offers products that can replace natural wood, completely addressing drawbacks associated with wood, such as warping, pest infestation, and shrinkage. 60x120cm vitrified floor tiles with wood grain patterns imitate the grain of natural wood and offer excellent durability during use. A crucial component of this solution system is water-saving sanitary fixtures aimed at reducing water bills. This solution directly contributes to three core sustainability goals: preserving natural stone and wood resources, reducing carbon footprints throughout the product lifecycle, and optimizing daily water and energy consumption.
