In 2024, Simas presented a new concept designed to tell a new vision of the bathroom through the infinite expressive possibilities of colored ceramics. A concept that won over the public and critics, obtaining the Special Mention at the ADI Booth Design Award Cersaie 2024. At the center of the scene was a freestanding piece offered in a palette of 19 colors and 4 decors, displayed on a scenic backdrop wall that celebrates chromatic research and the desire for personalization that guides contemporary bathroom furnishing today.
The stand, designed by architect Giancarlo Angelelli, stood out for its light, sustainable, and evocative setup, inspired by the tents of nomadic populations and itinerant theater sets. Semi-transparent cotton fabrics modulated natural light, creating a suspended atmosphere that enhances the materiality and colors of the ceramic surfaces. Four immersive rooms accompanied the visitor on an emotional journey. Simas has also opened a new showroom in Milan, designed for architects, interior designers, and private clients who want to experience the quality of Simas products firsthand and shape their bathroom furnishing projects. Inside the showroom, curated and suggestive settings stage the sanitary ceramic collections and furnishing accessories, offering ideas and inspiration for every style, from classic to contemporary.
Ceramics of Italy Certification
Simas has obtained the Ceramics of Italy certification, awarded by Confindustria Ceramica. This prestigious recognition certifies the productive excellence of Italian ceramics and represents an important seal of quality for the brand. Obtaining the Ceramics of Italy mark means adhering to strict production and quality standards.
On the occasion of the 70th-anniversary celebrations, Simas confirmed its innovative spirit by participating in Container 02, a widespread installation as part of a design event. The participation included contributions from architects and designers showcasing Simas products in creative contexts.
