The stream of bad news from the ceramic industry shows no sign of stopping. Problems are not only occurring in Upper Franconia; a tile manufacturer in Saxony is now in difficulties.
Although the plant is one of the largest in Germany, the Panariagroup in Leisnig, Saxony, is in a tight spot. The tile manufacturer with 230 employees has filed for insolvency. The responsible Chemnitz Local Court appointed Christian Heintze from the law firm BBL Brockdorff as the preliminary insolvency administrator.
