On the occasion of the National Made in Italy Day, promoted by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, ISIA Faenza will host the conference “Training Made in Italy. Skills, territories and the future of Italian ceramics” on April 21, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The event is organized by AiCC – the Italian Association of Ceramic Cities.
The association explains that the conference aims to be an opportunity for meeting and discussion dedicated to the theme of training professionals in the Italian ceramic sector, with particular attention to the ongoing transformations in educational paths and knowledge transmission processes.
The meeting will bring together sector professionals, institutional representatives from the 60 Ceramic Cities in the AiCC network, artisans, teachers, and students, with the goal of promoting an open and constructive dialogue between the world of education, the production system, and institutions.
Through the presentation of case studies, best practices, and significant experiences, the conference will offer an updated overview of the state of ceramic training in Italy. Particular attention will be dedicated to the role of innovation and new technologies, both in educational contexts and in production practices.
The themes of integration between tradition and experimentation, the new skills required by the sector, and future prospects for training and professional qualification in the ceramic field will also be explored in depth.
