This editor’s note highlights the key facts and market implications behind “Integra Adhesives Launches Horizon™ in Europe, a”, with emphasis on sourcing, product fit, fabrication, logistics, or buyer impact.
Integra Adhesives has announced the launch in Europe of Horizon™, a new two-component (10:1) methacrylate adhesive designed for both interior and exterior applications. The product responds to the sector's demand for solutions that simplify processes and reduce the need to manage multiple product references. This product can be purchased through its distributor for Spain, Insemac Tools.
Horizon™ allows fabricators to work with a single adhesive for surfaces such as quartz, porcelain, sintered stone, ceramic, and natural stone, eliminating the need to differentiate between products for interior and exterior use.
Among its main features, it stands out for its high resistance to UV rays, with color change (ΔE) values below 1.5 after accelerated tests, as well as its durability against thermal cycles, maintaining its bond strength virtually intact after tests according to ASTM standards. It maintains color and integrity under sunlight, where standard adhesives fade or degrade over time.
The product also offers a working time of between 9 and 14 minutes, anti-sag formulation for vertical applications, resistance to temperatures between -40 °C and 70 °C, and GREENGUARD Gold certification for its low emission content.
Horizon™ is available in 250 ml cartridges through the Insemac distributor network, with a range of over 100 colors.
