This editor’s note highlights the key facts and market implications behind “Luminox returns to duty with new MIL-SPEC 3350 S”, with emphasis on sourcing, product fit, fabrication, logistics, or buyer impact.
Luminox has unveiled a new iteration of its MIL-SPEC 3350 Series, marking the third edition of the military-grade collection. The latest model introduces a blue and yellow colour scheme inspired by the insignia of the U.S. Department of Defense. The watch remains compliant with MIL-SPEC standards, specifically MIL-PRF-46374G TYPE III CLASS 1, covering materials, fabrication and performance requirements. It features a 46mm CARBONOX™+ case paired with a micro-sandblasted titanium bezel, designed to deliver durability while maintaining a lightweight profile. Water resistance is rated to 300 metres, positioning the model for professional and outdoor use. Powering the watch is an ETA F06.412 quartz movement, incorporating HeavyDrive and PreciDrive technologies to improve shock resistance and accuracy. HeavyDrive is designed to counterbalance shocks and prevent hand displacement, while PreciDrive regulates precision to within +/- 10 seconds per year. The dial uses Luminox Light Technology across markers, hands and bezel to ensure constant visibility in low-light conditions.

A yellow seconds hand with Super-LumiNova detailing is included to enhance legibility.
“As I’ve mentioned before, achieving technical MIL-SPEC compliance isn’t just about performance – it’s about commitment to excellence in every technical component and material we’ve used,” said Pierrick Marcoux, group product director at Luminox.
“The colour combination is inspired by the Defense Department that set the MIL-SPEC standards.”
The model is fitted on a blue rubber strap with an additional black webbing option included. Priced at £895, the latest MIL-SPEC 3350 edition continues Luminox’s focus on military-inspired tool watches for professional and civilian use.
