No more worrying about the gas bottle running out on a Sunday evening. Now, at the Intermarché in La Haye (Manche), an automatic dispenser allows residents to pick up their gas bottle whenever they wish, located in the supermarket parking lot.
This installation allows residents who are not connected to the gas network, as is the case in 75% of French municipalities, to benefit from this service throughout the year. According to Antargaz, a total of 10 million households in France use gas bottles.
About fifteen dispensers in Manche
This automatic gas bottle dispenser solution, which has existed since 2012, is deployed across France. In Manche, more than fifteen such dispensers have been installed to meet consumer needs. These consumers often fail to anticipate an empty gas bottle or are unavailable to visit stations open during the day.
Antargaz has analyzed that 28% of their customers use these autonomous stations in the evening after 7 PM, and 40% of them pick up their gas bottle on weekends. A very useful service when you don't have time to go to the station or when the gas bottle runs out at the wrong moment.
