Editor's Note
This editor’s note highlights the key facts and market implications behind “New Watch 2026: The Purest Alpine Eagle You Can “, with emphasis on sourcing, product fit, fabrication, logistics, or buyer impact.
Chopard's integrated bracelet sports watch, the Alpine Eagle, was officially launched in 2019. With its unique "eagle iris" dial texture and tough, bright Lucent Steel™, it quickly carved out a significant place in the high-end sports watch segment, earning the affectionate nickname "Fat Eagle" among watch enthusiasts. However, for some collectors seeking ultimate purity, the standard Alpine Eagle 41mm, while beautiful, has a date window between 4 and 5 o'clock that slightly disrupts the dial's clean texture. Calls for a version without the date window have been persistent. In the past, Chopard has sparingly released a few special editions of the Alpine Eagle without a date window. These include the 2023 Japan-market limited edition of just 100 pieces, the "Shikkoku" (Lacquer Black) version; the 2024 limited edition of 50 pieces for Kuwait; the 25-piece limited "Darshan Slate Gray Special Edition" exclusively for UAE retailer Seddiqi; the Alpine Eagle Summit series unveiled at the same year's watch fair, featuring 18K gold and extremely ornate gem settings; and the Alpine Eagle XP/XPS family, which takes a high-end watchmaking approach with L.U.C ultra-thin movements. Alternatively, one could opt for the 36mm mid-size model. It is clear that Chopard has been quite cautious with the "no date window" design, controlling production numbers or using precious metals to maintain its rarity and precious value. Now, the new no-date version of the Alpine Eagle 41 Crystal White in steel has finally arrived. Shouldn't watch enthusiasts rush to grab it?

Notably, the Alpine Eagle 41 Crystal White Edition comes with a white rubber strap. To achieve a more perfect "Fat Eagle," one would need to purchase an additional steel bracelet to replace it, making it a true integrated-bracelet sports watch.
