In light of the government's pro-natal policies yielding positive results, with recent increases in marriage numbers and birth rates in Hong Kong, the mall has specifically coordinated with tenants this year to offer a wider range of home furnishings, bedding, lighting, and home appliances tailored to young couples and small families. During the event, the mall will also debut a new permanent children's facility called "Kids' Paradise" and a seasonal "Summer Water Fun Zone," transforming HomeSquare into Hong Kong's first family-friendly home shopping destination. The event is expected to boost foot traffic and sales by 15% and 18%, respectively. HomeSquare's "Hong Kong Home Sale 2025" runs from today (July 14) to August 10, featuring over 80,000 branded furniture, home goods, and appliances at exceptional prices. The selection includes branded home furnishings, comfortable bedding, lighting, home goods, and appliances, with a strong focus on products for families with children and cozy two-person households. Highlights include round coffee tables at up to 90% off, anti-allergy orthopedic mattresses, anti-dust mite beddings, silver-ion antiviral air purifiers and disinfection dryers, two-seater waterproof pet-friendly fabric sofas, massage chairs, extendable dining tables, smart robots, internet-famous fans, and antibacterial memory foam pillows starting at HK$100, all meeting the needs of young families. Sun Hung Kai Properties' Leasing Department Deputy General Manager, Ms. Hui Ka Wai, stated:
“In recent years, the government has promoted pro-natal policies, such as the newborn baby bonus, which has driven up marriage and birth rates. Therefore, we believe that demand for home furnishings, goods, and appliances from young branches or families with children will continue to grow in the future. As Hong Kong’s largest one-stop home-themed mall, HomeSquare’s ‘Hong Kong Home Sale’ this year is even larger than previous years, with an investment of up to HK$8 million.”
Ms. Hui Ka Wai, Deputy General Manager of the Leasing Department at Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency Limited. Tenants also anticipate a rising demand for family-friendly furniture. This year's "Hong Kong Home Sale 2025" not only offers discounts on home furnishings, bedding, lighting, home goods, appliances, and interior design credits but also targets the family-friendly furniture market trend. HomeSquare has partnered with 34 tenants selling family-friendly furniture to launch 109 related products. During the event, HomeSquare will also add a children's play facility, the "Summer Water Fun Zone," and coordinate with tenants to set up a pop-up store in the mall's atrium themed around family-friendly furniture, while all tenants offer a diverse range of family-friendly home goods, furniture, and appliance deals.

Additionally, the mall has collaborated with at home and Smanie to set up pop-up stores in the atrium. at home will host the "SWEET at home this Summer" pop-up store from today to July 28, showcasing multiple family-friendly furniture items, featuring several large cake-themed photo spots and a series of interactive games, with free cake giveaways on designated days.
Mr. Chan Chuen Yin, Managing Director of Euro Modern (Far East) Limited, stated:

Sintered stone material not only offers a high-quality feel but also features easy cleaning and scratch resistance, paired with rounded-edge designs, making it very suitable for families with young children.”

From July 29 to August 10, Smanie will hold the "25th Anniversary: Weaving Life Stories with You – Summer Smanie Splendor" event in the atrium, featuring a tent game. After completing the game, participants can redeem Smanie gifts, a cup of ice cream, and exclusive discounts of up to 40% off on sofas and home decor. Ms. Tong Man Chun, Managing Director of Smanie, stated:
