As a complement, the tour presents for the first time the future collection of the carbon-neutral ultracompact surface Dekton, Artik Nodes. Cosentino and Tom Dixon Present Axis at Fuorisalone 2026: A Sensory Experience at Casa Manzoni

This space hosts both the premiere of the new Axis table collection and the international presentation of Eclos, the innovative brand of mineral surfaces with INLAYR technology, set to redefine the material language of contemporary design.
The structure is articulated as a progressive spatial journey that addresses the intersection of material innovation, structural expression, and sensory experience. The installation, located at Casa Manzoni, serves as the stage to introduce Eclos, Cosentino's new brand of mineral surfaces with INLAYR technology, to the international design and trends community. With this, the company presents Axis, one of the standout initiatives of this year's Fuorisalone, held from April 20 to 26 as part of Milan Design Week. Conceived together with British designer Tom Dixon, the project unfolds inside Casa Manzoni (Via Gerolamo Morone, 1), a neoclassical building emblematic for its cultural and architectural relevance, which acts as the setting for the European debut of Eclos and the presentation of the new table collection. The structure is articulated as a progressive spatial journey that addresses the intersection of material innovation, structural expression, and sensory experience. Along the itinerary, visitors pass through different environments ranging from sculptural landscapes of tables to architectural applications and immersive rooms, where light, sound, and reflections affect the perception of surfaces and space. Together, these environments form an ecosystem oriented toward experimentation, dialogue, and interaction with contemporary design.
AXIS: The Installation
The experience unfolds across five distinct environments: The Sanctuary The Dining Room
The Sonic Bath proposes an immersive experience where surfaces, sculptural Eclos bathrooms, Chrome MELT lighting, and resonance intertwine, transforming the material into a sensory atmosphere. The Reflection Gallery deconstructs the geometry of the collection through installations with mirrors and modular compositions that reveal its structural logic. This environment is accompanied by cool-toned lighting with POSE and BELL lamps in Baby Blue finish. The Forum Until next Thursday, the 23rd, Casa Manzoni hosts AXISTALKS, a debate program curated by Album, the creative platform founded by the editors of Apartamento magazine together with architect Paul Cournet. The initiative brings together eight internationally recognized designers, including Michael Anastassiades, Sabine Marcelis, Jaime Font, and Enrica Cavarzan, in a series of conversations moderated by Cournet himself. Along the itinerary, visitors pass through different environments ranging from sculptural landscapes of tables to architectural applications and immersive rooms, where light, sound, and reflections affect the perception of surfaces and space.
Axis Tables: The Geometry of Matter
Axis is defined as a system based on the intersection between structure and surface, where geometry acts as a configuring element of matter. From this relationship emerges a new language of furniture developed under Tom Dixon's design vision. The concept materializes in a collection of tables presented for the first time in Milan, characterized by the combination of crossed-leg geometries, engineering precision, and integration of advanced Eclos surfaces. The structural development of the collection has been carried out in collaboration with the Spanish firm Actiu, responsible for translating Dixon's sculptural proposal into a high-precision technical aluminum base. This approach allows for multiple configurations and ensures stability, visual continuity, and an industrial finish that reinforces the architectural character of the ensemble.
