The Councilor for Youth, Education, and Participation, Javier Rodríguez, presented the details of this event together with María Jesús Pérez and Elena Valenciana from the Diabetes Association of Almería (ADIAL) and Julio Maleno from the Association of Radio Amateurs of Poniente (URPA), where he highlighted that "it is configured as a great space for coexistence and social participation in which local entities will have the opportunity to bring their work to citizens in areas as diverse as cultural, social, educational, sports, health, and awareness."

In this edition, a total of 33 associations will participate, offering more than 20 free activities aimed at all audiences. The Meeting will take place non-stop from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Municipal Park, which will be transformed into a major citizen meeting point. The venue will have differentiated areas, including information stands from associations, a workshop area, a sports space, and a central stage where cultural and musical activities will take place throughout the day. Among the most notable proposals are the skate workshop by Almería Skate School, Chi Kung exhibitions, choral performances, adapted dances, traditional Bulgarian dances, musical shows, and craft workshops. Likewise, educational activities focused on health promotion, respect for the environment, and the defense of social rights will be developed. Throughout the day, participating associations will have information stands where they will present their projects, share informative materials, and publicize their current and future activities, thus fostering direct contact with citizens and the exchange of experiences between entities.

"The Association Meeting has become one of the most relevant initiatives promoted by the Citizen Participation area, thanks to its inclusive, participatory, and open nature. This event contributes significantly to strengthening the local associative fabric and recognizing the daily commitment of non-profit entities," the councilor indicated.

Finally, the Citizen Participation area encourages all residents to participate in this festive day, discover firsthand the work of local associations, and enjoy a free, inclusive program designed for all ages.

Stage Program

From 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., a Chi Kung exhibition will be held by the Women's Association La Aldeílla. From 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., a choral performance will take place by the Evangelical Church of the Living God. From 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., a dance adapted to fibromyalgia will be performed by the ALFIEL Association. From 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., "What is Nadie y los Sueños Eléctricos?" is scheduled, a storytelling show with an immersive atmosphere where a story is told through poems, by the Philosophy in the Street Association. From 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., traditional Bulgarian dances will be performed by the Bulgarian Traditions Association. From 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., dance exhibitions and a zumba, salsa, and bachata workshop will be held by the DBK Cultural Association. From 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., JANGUXADANZA will take place, with singers Álex "el popular" and Vivi "la voz romántica", by the Latinos Sueños y Esperanzas Association, and from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., a dance performance will be held by the Romanati Socio-Cultural Association.
