Editor's Note

This editor’s note highlights the key facts and market implications behind “Neolith Transforms the Library into an Emotional”, with emphasis on sourcing, product fit, fabrication, logistics, or buyer impact.

Neolith presents at Casa Decor 2026 a project that appeals to the emotion of lived experience and champions the value of interiors that invite one to stay. In collaboration with the interior design studio PersonalK, the firm proposes for this new edition of Casa Decor "Between Surfaces and Words," a concept conceived as a large social and family living room where design, surfaces, and memory intertwine naturally.

The installation evokes those houses full of stories, books, photographs, cherished objects, and unhurried conversations; settings that remain in memory for the warmth they transmit and the way they embrace daily life. Far from being conceived as an aesthetic exercise, the installation "proposes a new way of looking at Neolith: more sensory, more tactile, more emotional. An approach that highlights its capacity to integrate into atmospheres rich in nuance and coexist with other materials, textures, and carefully selected pieces to build an enveloping, sophisticated, and profoundly habitable interior."

The project's inspiration stems from a personal memory and a very specific image: the family library as the central element of the home, as a setting for gatherings, reading, music, study, and endless after-dinner conversations. PersonalK recovers this idea of the lived-in home and translates it into a contemporary space where every element has been thought out to awaken familiarity and create an immediate bond with the visitor.

Thus, the library ceases to be understood as a contemplative or static room and transforms into a living room open to encounters, pauses, and shared experience. Neolith's proposal at Casa Decor 2026 recovers "the taste for interiors enjoyed with all the senses: the filtered light, the presence of books, the weight of noble materials, background music, quiet conversation, and the pleasure of inhabiting a space that transmits serenity."

“Casa Decor represents one of the great showcases of interior design in Spain and a strategic event for our brand. This year we wanted to show a version of Neolith deeply connected with emotion, memory, and the warmth of home, within a proposal that inspires, welcomes, and reveals new creative possibilities for our surfaces,” said Andreas Manero, Group Marketing Director of Neolith.

Behind the Scenes: The Vision of PersonalK

Founded by Pilar Alberola and Lucía González-Orús, PersonalK develops interior design projects with a strong personality, always aimed at reflecting the way of life of those who inhabit the spaces, maintaining a very careful balance between functionality and beauty. This philosophy fits naturally with the proposal created for Neolith at Casa Decor, where the project is built from an intimate and recognizable narrative.

In "Between Surfaces and Words," the studio composes "a space where materials take on a leading role. Neolith surfaces integrate into the architecture of the space and into different decorative solutions with an elegant and serene presence, reinforcing the enveloping character of the whole."

“With this space we wanted to recover the library as the heart of the house: a place for meeting, introspection, and shared enjoyment. Together with Neolith, we have shaped a proposal that connects memory and contemporaneity, and envelops the visitor in a close, cultured, and profoundly welcoming atmosphere,” said the PersonalK studio.

One of the great values of the project lies in the selection of materials and the way they are combined to build a visual and tactile experience full of nuance. Among the leading models in the space are Neolith Himalaya Crystal, Neolith Serpeggiante, and Neolith Rapolano as main materials, which provide luminosity, texture, depth, and an aesthetic base very coherent with the overall concept. They are joined by other models such as Neolith Obsidian, Azahar, Pietra di Luna, and Niagara, used to reinforce contrasts, enrich the palette, and accentuate certain points along the journey.

In this line, Alvic participates with wood paneling applied to walls and shelves, adding warmth and visual continuity; Natuzzi, with a furniture selection composed of a sofa, armchairs, a mirror, and a side table; and Ideatec, with an acoustic ceiling designed together with PersonalK that integrates naturally into the whole. To this are added the Beosound Emerge speaker by Bang & Olufsen, technical lighting by Simon, and the temperature control system by Airzone, which contribute to creating a harmonious ensemble between technology and design.

The Neolith installation at Casa Decor 2026 can be visited from this Thursday until May 24th in space 19 on the 2nd floor.
