VALENCIA, April 17 (EUROPA PRESS) – The Velluters venue of the Valencia School of Art and Superior Design (EASD) will host the new edition, the 42nd PechaKucha Night Valencia, next Thursday, April 23, starting at 6:00 PM.

This new edition of PechaKucha Night, held in collaboration with the Manises International Ceramics Biennial, its Ceramics Museum, the city council, and EASD Valencia, will focus on the relationship between ceramics, design, and innovation.

The event will serve as the opening act for the programming of the International Ceramics Biennial, which will bring together, between April and July, key figures from art and design alongside new talents in a journey connecting tradition, industry, and ceramic experimentation.

The organization reported that the new edition of the Biennial will turn the city of Manises into a meeting point for art, design, and reflection on contemporary ceramics, through conferences, round tables, exhibitions, screenings, and guided tours.

The 42nd edition of PechaKucha Night will begin on Thursday, April 23 at 6:00 PM with the round table 'Ceramic Graphic Heritage', which will feature the participation of designers Juan Nava and Juan Salvador and restorer Duccio Sanesi.

The meeting will be completed with the presentation of nine projects around ceramics in the PechaKucha Night format.

On this occasion, the participants will be Ximo Roca (designer), Xavier Monsalvatje (ceramist and author of the official poster for PechaKucha Night 42), Xavier Claur (ceramist), Carla Alcalá (ceramics researcher at UPV), Fina Alarcón (Master in Craftsmanship, Design and Sustainable Production EASD/EASC), Cristina Fabuel (ITC), Eugenia Boscá (ceramist), Ana Illueca and Melisa Inga (Chulucanas Project, Peru) and Alicia González (Communication Director at Lladró).

The evening will conclude with a networking session in the hall of EASD Valencia with the collaboration of Cerveza Turia and music by DJ Álex Serrano. Admission is free until full capacity is reached.
