Introduction
The house started as a completely bare shell, with only the air conditioning provided by the builder. Everything was built from scratch. When discussing the style with the designer, our main direction was 'urban jungle'—creating a natural yet light-luxury atmosphere in the city. We wanted the public spaces to be open and minimalist, overall more refreshing and comfortable, so that every day when we return home, we can immediately shed the fatigue of work and feel the most relaxed and carefree ambiance.
Requirements and Floor Plan
Before After The layout is divided into three bedrooms and two living rooms, with adults, children, and elders each having their own well-defined living spaces. In the public area, the layout is completely open—from the entrance, living-dining room to the light meal area, there are no partition walls. The entire living space is very open. The color scheme is a minimalist gray-white palette. For materials, we selected several types of stone in consultation with the designer. The texture and grain of the stone combine natural, comfortable, and luxurious effects, making the visual appearance of the entire home very elegant and refined. Entrance

Upon entering the entrance, the first thing you see is a large colorful marble feature wall. The designer said the first impression at the entrance is the most important, representing the tone of the entire home, so it was placed here, hoping to impress guests when they visit! The shoe cabinet is centrally planned on the left side of the entrance. To avoid a sense of oppression, a floating design was used. The hollow middle section features black marble echoing the feature wall, where we placed some wealth-attracting items and keys. A full-length mirror was also installed for convenient outfit checks before going out. The guest bathroom is hidden behind the feature wall. Originally a sliding door, it was changed to a hidden door, making the wall lines clean and the overall look more minimalist and neat. Besides the guest bathroom, the doors of the other three rooms are also designed as hidden doors, maintaining visual integrity and ensuring privacy. Living Room The main color tone is light, so each space primarily uses gray-white, complemented by different light-toned stones. For example, the TV wall in the living room, upon closer inspection, resembles jade with slight translucency. Decorative split grooves were added to give the large TV wall linear variations, making it look very design-oriented! The countertop below for equipment uses a leather-textured ink-wash landscape stone. The wall and countertop are deliberately separated, with indirect lighting drawing a boundary, adding a sense of layering. The designer said that the lighter the stone color, the poorer its wear resistance. Since the floor is frequently walked on or used for moving items, and we were worried about scratches, we chose a high-hardness dark quartz stone to pair, giving the entire home a more stable atmosphere. Moreover, because the lighting is not all concentrated on the ceiling, some is supplemented by vertical linear lights and cabinet lighting. The different angles of illumination make the space's lighting soft. The quartz stone floor reflects some of the light, truly elevating the luxurious texture to another level! ▲ To maintain the integrity of the TV wall, storage such as the equipment cabinet and display cabinet are concentrated on the side wall. The presence of beams and columns was originally quite strong. To reduce the oppressive feeling caused by the height difference between the ceiling and beams, tea mirror was used to weaken the weight of the beams. This not only has a decorative effect but also adds a sense of luxury. Most of the decorations in the home are a mix of different materials, so the soft furnishings are paired with simple shapes to avoid visual clutter. The living room chose a small L-shaped leather sofa in earth tones to match the urban jungle theme. The brown color, in particular, has a touch of fashion, adding a finishing touch to the living room. Additionally, although the windows in the living-dining room are very open, the drawback is that the windows are of different sizes, not looking very minimalist and neat. Fortunately, the designer came up with the idea of using serpentine curtains to resolve this, using a one-sheer-one-curtain method to adjust daily lighting needs, making the visual effect much softer!

Dining Room The public space is wide enough. To maintain the transparency of the layout, we decided not to build a partition wall between the living room and dining room. Instead, we placed a long cabinet as the backrest for the sofa, while also increasing storage space in the dining room. The key point is that the long cabinet is movable, so adjusting the size of the two areas in the future is not a problem at all. The carved stone wall in the dining room is semi-translucent, with imposing patterns like a natural painting. Paired with a white pendant light, it looks particularly splendid. Combined with the large dining table, whether dining with family or entertaining guests, one can feel both grand and comfortable. Light Meal Area & Kitchen Outside the kitchen, there is a light meal area equipped with a sink and stove, convenient for simple Western dishes, snacks, or afternoon tea. The upper cabinets store dishes, while the lower cabinets also have storage functions, just right for small appliances. Since most of the home's colors are gray-white cool tones, we chose Morandi green cabinets to match the urban jungle concept, adding some warmth and variation to the space. The connection to the black iron frame and long rainbow glass curve serves as a visual buffer and a distinctive highlight. This area is planned as a storage room, sufficient for storing large supplies. The kitchen is designed as a Chinese-style hot kitchen. Both refrigerators are built-in, integrated with high cabinets to make storage invisible and convenient to use! Master Bedroom The atmosphere in the master bedroom is different from the rest of the home, overall warmer. The headboard features a soft upholstered design, and the symmetrical bedside tables look very grand.

Walk-in Closet & Master Bathroom The space leading from the master bedroom to the master bathroom is planned as a walk-in closet with ample storage. It is very convenient to grab clothes before bathing. The designer also thoughtfully placed a vanity by the window, allowing natural light for makeup, preventing over-application. The master bathroom is located at the innermost part. It was deliberately enlarged to accommodate four-piece bathroom fixtures. The designer said this allows one to enjoy a resort-like atmosphere at home, achieving maximum relaxation during bathing—and indeed, it does! Children's Room The children's room has a more neutral style with lighter colors. The wardrobe is wood-toned, echoing the natural feel of the urban jungle. The headboard features a grille design, and a movable desk is placed by the window, offering flexibility for future changes. Elder's Room Although the elder's room also uses wood tones like the children's room, the color selection is darker. Darker wood tones give a more stable feeling, better meeting the family's needs.
