Bonded Waterproofing Reimagined: Remmers' MB FL 2K Combines Waterproofing, Adhesive, and Grout Whether on balconies, loggias, terraces, or even in bathrooms or showers: bonded waterproofing systems with ceramic coverings have become established. With MB FL 2K, Remmers now offers a new type of bonded waterproofing. The 3-in-1 solution combines the three components of waterproofing, tile fixing, and tile grouting in one product. As a mineral waterproofing slurry tested according to DIN EN 14891, MB FL 2K enables the safe and straightforward waterproofing of a wide variety of surfaces. Thanks to its fast drying time, work can typically continue after just a few hours, ensuring an efficient workflow.
In its application as a tile adhesive (C1 TE S2 according to DIN EN 12004), MB FL 2K scores points primarily with its flexibility and long open time. This also makes it possible to work on critical substrates in renovation projects—for example, on old tile coverings. Last but not least, the product meets the requirements for grout in accordance with DIN 13888. And thanks to the watertightness of the joints, MB FL 2K is also suitable for exterior areas. For maximum design freedom, the light base color of the material can be tinted in various other color shades.
