The colors and patterns of Tenmoku change endlessly with variations in light intensity and angle, resembling the dazzling cosmos. In October, Daban Roots proudly invites international Tenmoku master Luo Senhao to exhibit at the Bangan Gallery. Artist Luo Senhao was born in 1965 in Chiayi, Taiwan. In high school, he was introduced to wood-firing by ceramic artist Yang Shengxiong and learned Jiaozhi firing techniques from master Lin Tianmu. During his studies at the National Taiwan College of Arts, he followed Professor Lin Baojia to study glazes, kilns, and other ceramic courses, delving deeply into traditional glazes such as celadon, Tenmoku, and Jun glaze. In 1989, he entered the Ceramics Research Institute at the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart in Germany, researching European ceramic development and contemporary art trends. He created extensively and held numerous solo exhibitions in German museums, earning high praise from European art circles and media. During his studies, his works were exhibited and collected by museums such as the Museum of Applied Arts in Munich, the Leipzig Museum, and the International Ceramics Museum in Weiden. 2025 Luo Senhao Art Exhibition.
