Sitting in front of his computer screen, Bilal Larbaoui perfects a concept that is already marketable and trendy. To dress one of the walls in his office, the entrepreneur chose an ornament made of Volvic stone. Texture, appearance, outcrop… the rock seems to have always been there. The effect is striking. Yet, it is indeed an alloy of foam and resin that we see before our eyes. A creation straight from the Pétralithe workshop.
“I use molds designed by 3D printing starting from a scan of a real rock. I then rework it to create these panels of 13 to 15 kg that fit together without the joints being visible.”

Natural materials
A real innovation. "The coating glued to the wall is lighter than tiling per square meter," according to its 29-year-old designer, who is also passionate about climbing. It is no coincidence that this native of Plauzat prefers stone to all other natural materials. Since June 2024, Bilal Larbaoui has settled in one of the workshops of the business incubator of Agglo Pays d'Issoire. It is at Evol'Yss, in the Lavaur-La Béchade zone, that the former telecom employee pursues the professional goal he set for himself four years ago.
