SGBDD Awards Deutsche Steinzeug and VitrA Bad
At BAU 2009, the Tile division of Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Deutschland GmbH (Raab Karcher) once again awarded two tile manufacturers for their particularly cooperative partnership. On January 14, Managing Director Eric Snijer announced the winners for 2008:
"Supplier of the Year" is Deutsche Steinzeug AG, Architectural Ceramics division, whose Managing Director Peter Wilson accepted the trophy.
VitrA Bad GmbH was named "Rising Star of the Year." General Manager Ahmet Yamaner and Managing Director Zeki Safak Ozan came to Munich for the award presentation.
“Criteria for the evaluation included, among other things, cooperation with the manufacturers, growth, and investment volume. Thus, we share a long-term, reliable, and good partnership with the winner, the Architectural Ceramics division of Deutsche Steinzeug AG. With this award, we would like to thank both manufacturers for the successful cooperation last year,” explained Eric Snijer, Managing Director of Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Deutschland GmbH, regarding the decision.
The awards were presented for the second time after 2008.
