Kenny's Philosophy: Building a Decoration 'Kingdom' Mr. Kenny Kan, owner of SANFI Xinghui International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. Updated 2022-11-25 11:56 PM Kenny has loved creating since childhood. Due to his family's modest means, he often conceptualized things he liked, drew them by hand, and gave them to himself as gifts. He would use a pen to draw complex objects from different angles and methods. Through constant practice, he gradually transformed like a Transformer—changing, changing, changing—until finally 'transforming' into the perfect artwork in his mind. Kenny felt happy while drawing, and when encountering problems, he patiently completed them until satisfied. This foundational training from childhood cultivated Kenny's sensitivity to lines, textures, aesthetics, and tones. His strokes became more confident, naturally paving the way for his future design career and his affinity with building materials—sintered stone and ceramic tiles. Kenny says that with his professional eye, he has now found good building materials. He hopes to use high-quality, beautiful, and durable materials to build utopias, gather a group of designers with shared ideals to complete larger projects, and leverage his strengths behind the scenes to make operations smoother, achieving the effect of using people and resources to their fullest.

Sintered Stone and Ceramic Tiles: Kenny’s Beloved Building Materials

During the conversation, the author found Kenny to be very kind. Initially, Kenny worked as a designer at a large listed company specializing in exhibition design, eventually becoming a department head. His designs were widely popular. Once, a key client had rejected three design proposals from the company. Even though Kenny was a newcomer, when the client saw his hand-drawn design, they adopted it without any changes! As exhibition design work stabilized and income became substantial, Kenny noticed that every exhibition booth was dismantled within just a few days. Seeing this pained him, as he felt it was too wasteful and environmentally unfriendly. Eventually, driven by his entrepreneurial spirit and his desire to avoid the heartache of seeing projects torn down, he decided to resign. Years later, Kenny established Xinghui International as the Hong Kong distributor for ceramic tiles, precisely because of his love for tiles and sintered stone—materials that are extremely durable. SANFI Xinghui International embodies the 'light luxury' style, symbolizing a low-key, comfortable, and high-quality lifestyle. Kenny Says Communication Is Key

Kenny believes that only good communication can solve problems. With his designer's intuition and a mindset of helping others solve issues, his company stands out in operational services: 1. Interior Designers: They act as assistants to designers, processing orders according to their designs. Kenny emphasizes that processing procedures must be closely coordinated, and the dimensions of processed products must be verified, especially for joints, which need to be accurate. 2. General Household Clients: Some clients know exactly what they want, while others have no concept. Even renovation masters cannot provide design ideas. In such cases, Kenny understands the client's thoughts and asks about the desired effect. If the client is unsure, Kenny guides their thinking to reduce detours. Particularly in Hong Kong's cramped living spaces, Kenny's strength lies in maximizing usable space, helping clients effectively utilize every inch and neatly store away extended spaces to create a minimalist interior layout. He believes that using high-quality, durable materials to improve quality of life is a win-win situation!

SANFI Xinghui International Building Materials: Bendable Sintered Stone and Ceramic Tiles (Light Luxury Style, Designed by Italian Designer)

With 20 years of design experience, Kenny can design an environment for you that is emotionally resonant. The building materials he selects will make you feel comfortable and practical. Let's learn about SANFI Xinghui International's new favorite building material: sintered stone! Sintered stone is extremely durable and highly moldable, making it a future fashion trend. Xinghui's materials combine many advantages with high cost-performance, creating various visual effects such as the light luxury style, symbolizing a low-key, comfortable, and high-quality lifestyle. The company's 'bendable' sintered stone further demonstrates its high-tech production line and quality.

Materials and Manufacturing of Sintered Stone

Sintered stone is composed of various stone raw materials and powdered natural minerals. It is pressed under 12,600 tons of pressure and fired at 1,280°C. This process creates a new type of large-format ceramic material that can withstand cutting, drilling, and polishing. Sintered stone has a Mohs hardness of 6 or above, making it resistant to scratches and wear. Its fire resistance reaches Class A1 non-combustibility, with water absorption as low as 0.05% and near-zero formaldehyde. Sintered stone is not prone to deformation or fading due to temperature changes and is almost unaffected by external temperature variations. SANFI Xinghui International's Bodin stone tiles. Applications of Sintered Stone

Kenny says that basically the entire building can be decorated with sintered stone. Because it is large, stain-resistant, and easy to maintain, with thicknesses available in 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, and 15mm (6mm being the most commonly used). It can be used for floors, walls, countertops, kitchen worktops, cabinet doors, etc., and can be customized and cut into different shapes. Using sintered stone for walls is more durable; for example, it is now popular for walls and can also create curved effects. Sintered stone used in frequently touched areas does not fade or scratch easily, and children's graffiti can be wiped off, making it very practical. SANFI Xinghui International sintered stone.
