Cambria Quartz Arrives in Italy
Cambria, the US company among the world leaders in quartz slab production, has opened its first showroom in Italy at Serugeri in Verona. A leader in quartz slab production, the American company Cambria is also targeting the Italian market for its growth in Europe. For its debut in Italy, the company has chosen Serugeri as its partner, which for over 50 years has been an important reference point for the distribution of panels and high-quality materials for furnishings. The reference point for the launch in Italy is the Verona showroom, which was inaugurated on February 11th in the presence of Rodolfo Panisi, CEO of Cambria International. As Panisi told the press, Cambria's story began in 2001 in Minnesota by the will of the Davis family – one of the most important industrial dynasties in the United States – and today it represents one of the most advanced realities in the quartz sector with a 100,000 square meter plant and 2,000 employees.

We are the leading producer in America and among the three largest in the world, and our strength is a vertically controlled process at every step. It starts from the extraction of raw materials in our own quarries and goes all the way to after-sales service. For Cambria, quality is a daily challenge, and the production process also includes manual interventions and strict controls on the finished product.
Rodolfo Panisi, CEO of Cambria International, said.

360-Degree Quality
The company's strength is expressed both in the quality of the product, which consists of 93% quartz, and in continuous investments in R&D that have led it to offer 180 references on the market and to expand abroad in the last four years, with a presence today in 24 countries. Our research group, where 29 people work, is inspired by nature to develop different finishes, but the stone is always interpreted and not imitated. The proposed solutions, of great impact, are capable of giving a strong character to any environment in the home, from the kitchen – the most important sector for Cambria – to the bathroom, without forgetting the countless applications in the contract world. We have also worked a lot in the area of formats and thicknesses, and today we offer slabs in 3 cm, 2 cm, 1 cm, and 6 mm thicknesses. The latest novelty launched is a 2 cm quartz that can be backlit, with an undeniable scenic effect. With the degree of customization we can offer and the quality of our product, we are certain that even in Italy and Europe, Cambria will soon occupy a leading position in the most advanced segment of the market. We are already working with some excellent companies in the kitchen world, such as Brummel, Maistri, and Scic, and with them, we will be present at Eurocucina.

Specifically for Italy, 20 references have been selected, particularly suited to Italian taste, which are managed by Serugeri with an advanced storage service, through an automated warehouse equipped with 4.0 technology systems that will come into operation in 2020. As proof of the quality of Cambria surfaces, there are numerous certifications obtained, including NSF-51, which ensures suitability for food contact. The brand has also obtained Greenguard Gold certificates for low VOC emissions and Declare-certified compliance with the Living Building Challenge (LBC). Finally, Cambria is part of the Health Product Declaration Collaborative (HPD) V2.1 within the HPD Public Repository.
