Sankyo Tateyama (Holdings) (President: Hironori Masumoto) and Sankyo Alumi Co., Ltd. launched the interior building material series "LiVERNO" for interior doors, sliding doors, and other applications in April 2023. The series has attracted attention in the interior industry by proposing unique colors that align with interior renewal trends and diversified interior needs, and by developing a lineup centered around interior coordinators.

Sankyo Tateyama (Holdings) is an enterprise group established in June 2012 through the integration of three companies: Sankyo Tateyama Alumi, Sankyo Material, and Tateyama Advance. Its main businesses are: Building Materials Business (Sankyo Alumi Co., Ltd.), Material Business (Sankyo Material Co., Ltd.), Commercial Facility Business (Tateyama Advance Co., Ltd.), and National Land Business, totaling four business areas. The mainstay, which accounts for about half of the group's total sales, is the Building Materials Business. It develops residential building materials such as sashes and window doors, interior building materials, as well as building materials for stores like curtain walls, doors, carports, and other exterior commercial materials. Furthermore, the Material Business manufactures and sells aluminum and magnesium alloy extrusions, etc. A major strength of Sankyo Tateyama (Holdings) is its integrated operation from using these materials as raw materials for its own sashes, window doors, and other products, through to extrusion, development, and manufacturing. In addition, the Commercial Facility Business develops convenience stores, drugstores, store fixtures, and store maintenance services. The National Land Business focuses on Europe, China, Thailand, etc., selling aluminum and magnesium alloys, electric vehicle (EV) components, and building material products to overseas companies. Thus, while Sankyo Tateyama (Holdings) has a strong image of sashes, its Building Materials Business is characterized by its comprehensive development of space total solutions, including not only residential-oriented sashes but also window doors, interior doors, sliding doors, beds, closets, stairs, and other wooden products.

“While there are many residential building material manufacturers domestically, wooden interior building materials are at the core. Within that, our company’s characteristic is that we develop based on the two pillars of wooden building materials and aluminum building materials. In particular, aluminum building materials are highly rated as products that utilize the material feel of aluminum, which other companies do not have,” said Mitsuo Sawa, Manager of the Marketing Department’s Product Planning Section at the same company.

On the other hand, wooden interior building materials faced the major challenge of being difficult to differentiate from other companies. It was from this context that the new "LiVERNO" was born.

“The previous ‘LiVERNO’ was developed as a general wooden interior building material with a color scheme using oak that was easy to use. In addition to that, we have lined up a series that incorporates colors suitable for interior spaces that value trends and individuality.”

In the new "LiVERNO," the previous lineup is designated as the "Standard Series," and a new "Select Series" is established, featuring three styled themes: "Natural," "Vintage," and "Fine."
