Editor's Note
This editor’s note highlights the key facts and market implications behind “In Feytiat, Enthusiasts of Historical or Fantasy”, with emphasis on sourcing, product fit, fabrication, logistics, or buyer impact.
In Feytiat, enthusiasts of historical or fantasy figurines are sharing their world. The Maréchal Jourdan Figurine Club, which celebrated its fiftieth anniversary, is organizing its traditional figurine competition and exhibition this weekend at the Georges-Brassens hall in Feytiat.
"This competition brings together enthusiasts of historical or fantasy figurines. There is nothing to win. Except a porcelain medal and the pleasure of sharing our interest in this activity with the public," explains Lydie Queyroi, president of the Maréchal Jourdan Figurine Association.

This organization was founded in 1975 in Limoges, on Rue de la Règle, on the ground floor of the birthplace of Maréchal Jourdan. For a long time, the magnificent diorama reproducing the mythical Battle of Fleurus, won by Maréchal Jourdan on June 26, 1794, was exhibited there. As this municipal space was no longer available, Lydie Queyroi and her friends relocated to Feytiat, where a space is made available to them. This annual gathering, held at the Georges-Brassens hall in Feytiat, was founded forty years ago. It attracts exhibitors from Lyon, Nantes, Bressuire, and even Portugal.
