Editor's Note

This editor’s note highlights the key facts and market implications behind “Venux Arrives at Casa Decor 2026 with Its Own Sp”, with emphasis on sourcing, product fit, fabrication, logistics, or buyer impact.

In contemporary interior design, where technique and aesthetics integrate naturally, proposals emerge that transcend the visual to become experiences. In this context, Venux positions itself at Casa Decor 2026 with 'El Obrador,' a space developed together with Viruta Lab that proposes a new way of experiencing and inhabiting design. Located in the former Palace of the Marquis of Los Vélez and Count of Niebla, transformed into a convent in 1926, the project starts from a strong historical weight that it does not seek to replicate, but to reinterpret. The intervention establishes a dialogue between past and present from a contemporary, balanced, and artifice-free perspective, where the memory of the place integrates without imposing itself.

El Obrador

'El Obrador' redefines the kitchen as a space that goes beyond its function. Inspired by convent life, it proposes an environment where stopping, observing, and sharing take center stage. The experience is not immediate: natural light, scale, and the arrangement of the elements build an atmosphere that is discovered progressively. Everything invites slowing down and paying attention to the essential. Thus, the kitchen ceases to be a place of passage to become a space where daily life is lived more consciously. The design does not seek to stand out by itself, but to accompany the experience in a subtle and coherent way. Venux acts as the axis of the project. More than a finish, it is the starting point that articulates countertops, cladding, and furniture, generating material continuity.

The Taj Mahal and Laurent collections provide complementary nuances: the former introduces luminosity and warmth, while the latter incorporates contrast and graphic depth. Together they build a visual balance that reinforces the identity of the space. Architectural elements such as the ribbed vault, the height, and the entry of natural light enhance this perception, integrating the material into the overall experience of the space.

Central Island

The central island is configured as the nucleus of the project. Designed together with Línea 3 Cocina, it combines Venux sintered stone with slatted wood from Rekker, generating a balanced contrast both visually and tactilely. Beyond its practical function, the island proposes a more open and flexible relationship with the space, adapting to different uses and moments.

Visual Continuity

Siemens appliances – wine cooler, oven, and super-automatic coffee machine – are integrated discreetly, resolving technical needs without breaking the visual continuity or the character of the ensemble. Natural light plays a leading role, entering softly through the large window and transforming the space throughout the day. This play of nuances generates a feeling of calm and intimacy where time seems to dissolve.

Refectory

At the end of the tour, the refectory introduces a change of pace. Faced with the richness of the rest of the space, a more restrained atmosphere is proposed here, focused on pause and contemplation. The intervention is reduced to the essential: two pieces of sintered stone function as seats, reinforcing the direct connection with the material.

Further Venux Presence

The presence of Venux at Casa Decor 2026 is not limited to El Obrador, but extends to other spaces, evidencing the versatility of its material in different design approaches. In the Opulus auditorium, designed by Miguel Muñoz, the proposal adopts a maximalist language defined by repetition and visual intensity. Here, Venux participates with Black Zimbabwe in the flooring and with pieces from the Breccia Oniciata collection in furniture, reinforcing the expressive character of the space. On the other hand, in Ofuro, the bathroom by Ramon Soler designed by Carmen Barasona, an experience inspired by Japanese tradition is proposed. The proposal bets on a more leisurely relationship with time, generating an intimate and sensory atmosphere where the material takes center stage through elements such as the bathtub or sink, made in surfaces of sober and timeless aesthetics.
